Isagenix Founders

Founder and Formulator John Anderson and Co-Founders Jim and Kathy Coover all came out of retirement with the intent of creating a company that could directly impact the health, wealth, and happiness of people in search of a better quality of life.

John Anderson has been a worldwide private-label manufacturer since 1980 and has formulated and manufactured more than 2,300 different nutritional and weight-loss products for more than 600 companies in 27 countries. Jim and Kathy Coover have a motto: If it’s not right for our Associates, then it’s not right for our company. Isagenix and roadSIGNS

Jim and Betty discovered Isagenix in April 2007 when one of our coaching colleagues, Janice Sullivan, introduced us to the company and its products. Suffice it to say, after researching the company and completing our own due diligence, we decided to embark on our own Isagenix Journey.

Jim’s Story:

Throughout my pharmaceutical career, the demands of my job and frequent travel took a toll on my health. When I retired in Feb. 2007, I decided it was time for me to address my health issues and attract my perfect healthy body. I began Isagenix on May 22nd, 2007 and I have never looked back. In less than five months I successfully shed 40 pounds. More importantly I felt healthy, energetic, and more physically fit than I had in years.  I have always played hockey (I am Canadian after all!). When I returned to my usual hockey game in September, most of my teammates did not recognize me. Better still – I am now so fast on my skates that the others are struggling to keep up with me.

Betty’s Story:

When Jim retired I saw a new opportunity for us to get healthy together. I had recently entered that ‘time of life’ and recognized some of the usual symptoms of poor sleep, fatigue and what I fondly labeled my ‘menopot’, that added weight located around my middle. This was far from perfect for me, so I agreed to join Jim on the Isagenix journey. I set a goal of releasing 10 lbs. To my surprise I shed 20 easily and effortlessly, while reshaping my body, loosing 30+ inches from my waist hips and thighs. I am delighted to report that I finally acquired my 17 years old svelte body at the young age of 57! As Jim shared, the added bonus has been more energy, fitness and mental clarity – and that’s critical to me as a coach! We have decided to choose Isagenix as a lifestyle and continue to use the Isagenix products daily. This is the most incredible healthy food source on the planet, so why not!

Isagenix as a Business

The success Jim and I had with Isagenix did not go unnoticed. Almost immediately we began to attract attention with others asking us what we were doing and why we looked so healthy. We shared our story and soon found that others were interested. Before you knew it we had introduced a number of people to Isagenix and they wanted to join us. We were creating our own Isagenix business without even knowing it. In August of 2007 Betty and Jim decided that Isagenix would be a perfect fit for roadSIGNS contributing to our corporate mission of facilitating the journey of self-discovery, body, mind and spirit.
