The Strategic Attraction™ Planning Process

The Strategic Attraction Planning™ Process is a powerful four part plan for harnessing the Law of Attraction, as witnessed in the movie The Secret, and applying it to your life and your business. On the surface the plan appears simple however, creating, believing in and living your plan is a deep life changing process.

There are Four Sides to the Strategic Attraction™ Plan (SAP). These are:

Side One:

What are the Qualities, Characteristics, and Attributes of My Perfect Relationship? (Client, Business Partner, Life Partner, etc.)

Your perfect relationship may be a customer, a business partner, an employee, a supplier or, on the personal side, a friend or life partner. The choice is yours.

To begin your plan, consider the Qualities, Characteristics, Attributes and Talents of the person who would be a perfect fit for you. You may already have someone who comes to mind, someone with whom you have had a personal, pleasurable and profitable business relationship. How would you describe them?

An Example:

My Perfect Client:

  • Keeps their appointments and shows up on time
  • Trusts me and respects my work/products
  • Pays me my full fee without question
  • Refers me and my services to other clients

Create your list:

  • Brainstorm as many items as you can for your list – be expansive.
  • As you interact with your current customers every day, make note of what is perfect for you and what you are attracted to.
  • Add this to the list (Your list is dynamic not static!)
  • Review your list daily. Add to it. Get more precise and specific.

Clarity Through Contrast:

  • Sometimes you are not sure what you want to attract but it is very clear what you do not want. Remember however, that the Law of Attraction responds to where you focus your energy. You may say you do not want to attract customers who are negative in their attitude. Where has the energy been given? Negative in their attitude.
  • What is the opposite of this? I attract people who have a positive attitude. Now where is the energy being given?
  • If you are struggling with Side One of the plan because you are not clear on what you want, list what you don’t; then convert every point into a positive attraction.

Side Two:

What Makes My Perfect Client TICK? What makes Me Tick?

Your Tick is the HEART of your Strategic Attraction Plan. Why? Because ‘like attracts like’ and who you be, your tick, will be attracted to YOU.

What is a Tick?

Your tick is the core of your being, your essence, your attraction point. Consider these questions:

  • What is the most important thing in life to you?
  • What gets you out of bed in the morning?
  • What are you most committed to in your life?
  • What are you passionate about?

Side Three:

What Do I Want My Perfect Client to Expect of me?

The idea of applying the Law of Attraction to business is a revolutionary one. You do not need to sacrifice who you are or your integrity to be in business.

Note that the emphasis on Side Three is I WANT. This is not what do you think your clients want you to want, it is what do you want them to expect of you. In other words, what gives you a sense of fulfillment at the present time and what are you seeking for the future?

Feeling fulfilled adds fuel to your tank, making you more attractive. So, how do you personally want to deliver your service or products?

Some Examples:

I want my perfect customer/client to expect me….

  • To be successful in my business (define success)
  • To be known as the local expert in regard to (Define expertise)
  • To receive the abundance that arrives at my door
  • To earn ------/year by ---
  • To be visible and easy to find

Remember, these are all qualities about you that you currently have or that you are growing into, that you want your perfect customer to expect of you or your business. It is essential to become clear with yourself first about what you want others to expect of you. Think BIG! Expand.

Side Four:

What do I Need to Improve to Become More Attractive?

Notice that Side Four speaks of becoming not doing. This is a BEE-ing Plan.

The key to the Strategic Attraction Plan lies in the answer to this question.

You must become your own perfect customer before you will attract exactly what you want.

This, plus being your ‘tick’, shifts you to a new way of bee-ing in the world. That’s what makes you attractive!

How do I answer this question?

  • Review the list you created on Side Three
  • Read each item aloud and ask yourself, “Is this already happening 100% in the way I want to?”
  • If the answer is NO, circle the item and then re-write the answer in Side Four exactly as it is written in Side Three.
  • Example: If you wrote: I want my perfect customer to expect me to earn $100, 000/year, write: I am earning $100, 000/year.

Side Four challenges you to BE all that you want to have, do or be for yourself.

Unlike other plans you have created in the past, the Strategic Attraction Plan is a ‘being’ plan. As a result, when you live your plan, you begin to change and the world around you follows. It is often helpful to engage a coach to work with you in developing and living your plan as well as holding the mirror up for you and challenge you.
